My artistic work is born from a deep interest in the conscious experience of having a female body. I start from uncomfortable questions and translate them into material form, allowing my corporeal experience to dialogue with socially established visions, and opening up the opportunity for doubt and reflection, with the intention of making myself and anyone who comes into contact with the work uncomfortable. This is why I tend to take forms that range from the figurative to images close to abstraction, shifting into different spaces such as clothing, trees, rubble, and even the question of the development of an identity both personally and collectively. These, without a doubt, are a reflection of our bodily experience. Therefore, I tend to work with malleable or versatile materials from the human scale, which allow me to manipulate and bend them with my own body, such as clay, fabric, plaster, etc.
